Welcome to our site about the history of Mönsterås ! This is a part of a bigger project called ITIS (Information Technology In School) where our class have been divided into small groups with about 3-5 members. The results of the work are only to be wieved on the Internet. For a paper version of our work please contact some of the group members
The theme for the project was "The History of Mönsterås".
Each of the groups then got to choose an especially area within the main subject.
In our group we chosed to work with:

The history of our main street "Storgatan" (The big street) and our marketplace "Stortorget"
The history of our Church "Mönsterås Kyrka"
The history about the Matchfactory
The history about the Brewery in Mönsterås
